The Buried Life: Changing Lives For Season 2
Posted September 16, 2010on:
The Buried Life boys are back for more of their inspirational show.
This is no Jersey Shore my friends. These 4 boys (good-looking chaps too) don’t get drunk and hook up with chicks…well at least not while the cameras are rolling.
The Buried Life was/is a part of the “Obama generation” of television MTV started airing…. it being one of the networks first test drives. And it took off.
The first season took the boys across the nation while trying to tell a joke on late night, play basketball with Obama, throw a badass party, help deliver a baby and much more.
As the fellas live out their dreams, they help a stranger with a task on their very own bucket list. Last season this consisted of helping a father find his son, aiding a young girl deal with the loss of her mother, and even something as simple as going for a ride with a little girl on a roller coaster.

Pretty cool huh?
As much as I love the smut on television (I like the train wreck reality characters as much as the next chick), I really enjoy these type of shows. It is funny, but also touching as they help complete strangers overcome sometimes very sad and difficult things.
Their website/blog has their list posted for all to see, and they are very interactive with fans. You can tweet them, chat on the forum, and even post your own buried life list… check it out HERE.
What started as a simple, fun, road trip with a dash of humility and social awareness, has turned into a MTV generation phenom. And I for one am proud to say that these young guys socially conscious and philanthropic, all while being kinda cute and silly. (Had to throw in the shallowness in there somewhere to reach the mainstream)
Check out season 2 trailer below and make sure to tune into MTV September 27th @10:30PM for the season premiere.
