The Wanted (Well Really Max George)
Posted October 21, 2010on:
Ok let me just start by saying I am in a serious pop music mood today. Anything with a catchy melody is the bomb dot com to me.
I’ve noticed that the British/Irish group The Wanted has been trending. I’ve written about them before (I conveniently placed the link HERE. You’re welcome.) I admit I was a little snarky, but I think it was just because I was still in my Backstreet Boy bubble (which to be honest I am usually in any way).
But I’ve been giving it another listen… not gonna lie, I dig it. Especially this Max George character (who is known as the sex pot in the other post because I didn’t have the energy to look up his real name and I objectify men)
The Wanted had a #1 single in the UK with “All Time Low”
And that is good…. but what really re-caught my attention was “Heart Vacancy”. I did make fun of the video first time around and it still isn’t awesome because my new standard of a good music video is Willow Smith’s “Whip My Hair”. (Take a break from this right now and Google it. Your life will change.)
Thanks for coming back to continue reading. Now, if you must, close your eyes and listen to this song… it is sweet and the boys sound good. It is a good pop song and it continues to warp my view of love and relationships so therefore it is perfect.
And now look at how beautiful Max George is:
OK wow…. this post just got interesting. In my search for professional photographs of The Wanted and Max George (just to prove his hotness) some fun facts were found:
1) Max boo was on the X Factor with a group called Avenue. They got kicked off for lying about already having representation. Here is proof. It is some serious stuff. Slow motion camera cuts. Sniffles. Excuses. Tears. Max George cries and I think I love him.
2) Max George likes to be naked. This was done for cancer research or something…. but who cares?
and now I’ve lost my train of thought and the point of this…..
I think the moral of the story is you should probably buy The Wanted’s album (our October 25th) because good pop music will be on it (I hope so) and Max George has a cool name and is pretty with or without clothes.
I’m moving to the UK in search of Max George and pop music.
