Before I laid my head to rest last night… I received a tweet text from Lee bear telling me some very important information.
Hope you all had a good Holiday. I wrote a new song today
I’m off to bed, lots of love have a good night.
1) I did have a good night/holiday, thank you. Titanic was on and I had an intense discussion with Big D on how we would survive the Titanic.
My way: Share the big, wooden door with Jack while we were waiting for the boats to come back. And/or keep talking to him and swim toward the boats. They would have to let you on.
Big D’s way: Put on a wig and pretend to be a girl to get on the women and children boats.
Like you, I was ready to make fun of Big D and call him an idiot… but you can’t really deny that logic.
(This has gone on way too long… I apologize Lee D… I’m sure you didn’t really care about how I would survive the Titanic)
2) New song??? Look at you working on your day off! You clearly needed to get away from that cray cray cousin, through marriage, who is trying to get you to listen to their demo tape.
This song (thanks to the cray cray cousin) is 1 of 3 things….
1) a song telling me to stop demanding you wear new clothes and wear no hats, unless of course it’s THE hat
2) your own rendition of “California Love”, which is you taking it to the new level and I appreciate that
3) An actual song.
I honestly don’t know which one it might be. My brain tells me #1, my heart wants #2, but then reality is shouting #3.
I promise, that is what I thought of as I was falling asleep.
And then I thought of more ways I could survive the Titanic.
I’m gonna ask Lee bear during my interview, totally set for Spring 2011, how he would survive Titanic. Done and done.

When I read Lee’s tweet, I too wondered what the song could be about. Since I just talked to him the day before I thought maybe he wrote about how no one believes who he is when he talks to them on the phone? Or how nice the people in his home town are – like the 2 boys who asked him to talk to their Mom and her friend to make their day? Or maybe how crabby the Walmart mgr. was when he asked for a pen to do an autograph? Probably not….your right, reality is shouting #3! Oh and who is this cray cousin? I must have missed one of your many stories. You, like Lee, are Prolific!

Aw, bromance. Lee Bear and Andrew totally need to sing My Heart Will Go On. Maybe Lee Bear wrote a song about surviving the Titanic as an analogy of surviving a love affair gone wrong. Lee totally needs to hire me to give him musical direction. I will work for peanuts, err, cashews.
