Lee D Is In Another Battle & Apparently Joined A Basketball Team

I never knew getting a song on the radio is such a gladiator battle. We might as well give them foam sticks and put them on podiums to knock each other off. Barbaric… but much more exciting. I would have discussed all this with Russell Crowe if I knew this ahead of time.
Lee D. is in another battle to get “Sweet Serendipity” on a radio station apparently.
99.3 WAJK thinks it’s the College Basketball Association and is holding it’s very own March Madness in December…. December Dementia if you will. (I know December is over, but there is no synonym for madness that begins with a J…. and I prefer alliteration)

As I scrolled down the page in horror that this medieval battle has to happen to get on the radio I see this:
I didn’t realize Lee bear was an athlete all of a sudden. If he has to battle with Kris with a K… I don’t what I’m gonna do. I love “Alright With Me”… this is so unfair! I can’t even make the simplest decision about what to do on New Years Eve, let alone make this decision. I suck at making decisions. Ask anybody in my life.
Anyway, back to the game that is being played currently. Lee bear VS Orianthi.
I listened to her song (and you can hear it below if you wish) and it sounds like it could be on the Dawson’s Creek soundtrack (if that show still existed) and/or is about some higher being, but not my Oprah. Plus, doesn’t this chick usually hang out and play with Alison from American Idol whose last name I can’t remember, but has flaming red hair??? Did they break up? Sad story. Good thing she has courage.
And just because in fairness, here is “Sweet Serendipity”. I’m sure no one has EVER seen or heard this before. You’re welcome.
Duh. Shocking who I’m going to vote for. But Lee bear needs me even less this time around because he is already kicking Orianthi’s ass.
Yeaaah BOOOOOOOY!! BOO YAH! *Victory dance*
So, you know the drill. Go to 99.3 WAJK and vote for Lee bear. Or not… he’s got this one in the bag.
Watch him lose… I’ll feel really bad for my apathy and nonchalance about the whole thing.
But nah… he got this.

Hey make all the fun you want. Archie turned 20 this year! He’s officially make-fun-of-bait now. Kinda hard to believe Lee’s only 4 years older than Archie, huh?!

he’s 20?!?!?!? What??? I honestly thought he was like 18… and I was aiming high. Oh I can totally make fun of that little mon chi chi.
I hope they have to battle it out.

They haven’t played “Sweet Serendipity” on my station yet and it makes me sad 
I have only heard them play “Alright With Me” once and that makes me sad too cause I like that song and am tired of hearing his other song lol. David might have an army of voting fans but so does Lee bear! Lee bear fans kick ass… and not just saying it cause I’m one… but seriously they do! Lee bear got this in the bag all the way!!

i’ve never heard SS on the radio in my life. but i rarely listen to the radio.

I have to listen to radio all day at work…I’ve called several times requesting SS, they always say they’ll play it, but they haven’t yet. Except for a couple times in the new music hour at night. Seriously, I’m so sick of hearing Katy Perry, Bruno Mars (sorry Rocco, but they play his song incessantly), and all the other songs they play nonstop. What can it hurt to add a little new music in there? I just don’t get it. (sad)

They do play Bruno a lot. I will admit that. lol
And from what I learned in school about radio air play…. I guess there is a playlist that they have to play from. And unfortunately it’s not a large amount of songs to choose from, so like you said if you listen to the radio all day …. the 3 hr set that they may have will be repeated over and over.
I’m not really sure what pulls songs from the set and adds songs…. but I think once you get on a syndicated radio set list you’re golden.
But hey sometimes things aren’t overnight hits if you’re not an established artist. I think Lee has a good team and even better fans so things will be cool!

Hey — thanks for checking out our battle of the New Pix. Battling the songs that did well during the year (which is where the seeding comes from.) We’re currently spinning Lee’s “Sweet Serendipity” regularly… A lot of the other songs in the battle aren’t in our regular rotation… Like Archuleta. But, good luck to Lee’s fans… Cause the Archies threw up a crazy number of votes to knock off Kris Allen. Over 20-thousand in 24 hours.

What we do for our Lee Bear, vote, vote, vote! My kids think I’m nuts! But its all for a good cause! In all seriousness. I love Lee’s music and I want to see him do well! Don’t get the haters, the guy sings with so much passion!

Sadly the David Archie voting machine has already eliminated Kris with a K. I say sadly because if Lee had any chance at all in winning this poll against Kris with a K, he literally has no chance against David Archie fans. They invented radio poll voting. And even though they stopped buying his records two years ago, they still vote like an army. They make us look like newbies (oh wait, we are newbies. I guess we could learn from the pros).
