D Man Has An Intriguing Title & Rocco Judges It

Well, well, well… D Man… 4 words turned me into Judge Judy, and I was judging a book by it’s cover… or a song by it’s title. Whatever.
“Kiss On The Neck”… what a weird song title… but I get it. You did it for the exact thing that just happened…I clicked on the link to hear the song.
And then I looked at the lyrics and I came to the conclusion you don’t like this bitch.
Hollywood's full of girls like you With your backbone stuck inside your purse Your fairy tale couldn't get much worse You're a broken bird and we all know We can win you over, With just a kiss on the neck.
And apparently she looks like a bird and is a whore. Rough times for her. And to anyone she made out with.
Okay… 1) that was not how I was expecting this song to sound, 2) I feel like I should tease my hair, get in the DeLorean and go to 1984, and 3) he has on a treat hat. I wonder what treats he holds under there??

Oh and I also love his little “talk break” in the middle. Not quite the same effect that Boyz II Men had… but I respect him for going for it.

(I’m just cracking myself up today… I know it’s lame to laugh at your own jokes… but sometimes you gotta pat yourself on the back for being humorous)
Let this be a lesson to all: Never judge a song by its title and trust D Man.

Ah, but I think you missed the turn after the mid-song talk. He’s either a jilted lover and is still pining over her or he’s a cray stalker and she doesn’t know he’s alive so he’s lashing out at her in anger.

I will never forget the first time we saw him perform this song. It was on Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy choose not to post this song on his site, but one of the people there made a video with their camera phone. It was bad bad bad and grainy, sound was horrible and I watched it about a million times!
He had much trepidation about about the moan and I think he felt funny about doing it. When he saw the response he got from it he cracked up laughing and so did the band as well. As the tour went on the moan got longer and longer and sexier and sexier. We all loved the song and waited with much anticipation for the moan.
