Rocco's Pop Revolution: Seen through the eyes of someone living it

My Favorite Mullet VS A Cult Leader??

Posted on: February 9, 2011

That means Alex Lambert VS Ray LaMontagne.

They both sing “Trouble”… well Alex sings Ray’s song.

Ray LaMontagne was just on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and he sang the song beautifully. But he looked like a cult leader. Seriously. Look at him.

I feel like putting on some Nike kicks and drinking some Kool-Aid. With arsenic.

I’m pretty sure I saw him on a documentary about communes and cult leaders. Creepy.

And I’m pretty sure I saw Alex Lambert on a documentary about people who can rock outdated hair styles like it’s nobody’s business!

I love this kid. I love that he had a mullet. A FULL BLOWN MULLET. I can’t get over it and it’s months after the fact. (And I really dig his voice. He needs to get signed like yesterday….)

I have a confession… I liked him more than Lee bear in the very very beginning. But….I think I was just drunk on mullet love. My words and humor belongs to Lee D. now… don’t you worry.

Anyway… let’s listen to mullet’s rendition.

Ohhh who wins???

Duh. Alex Lambert and his mullet win this shit.

I don’t promote possible cult leaders and their beards.

But WHY THE F did all the major LEGITIMATE news sites-CNN,Fox News, NBC, Huffington Post, ETC…run a story based on a few random tweets from Alex-they Never do that…That whole week was just so Insane!! Alex is an Awesome vocalist,so hope a major label will pick him up- he’s obviously been recording a ton of demos in the studio…
