Rocco's Pop Revolution: Seen through the eyes of someone living it

Marcus Mumford & Dave Matthews Were Together For Some Reason

Posted on: October 25, 2011

(Greatest hat of all time, by the way.)

I may get shot for saying this, but I don’t really like Dave Matthews. I pretended to like them in college because that’s what everyone else was doing, but I really only knew like 2 songs and even those I often skipped on my iPod.

Mumford & Sons did some benefit (The Bridge School Benefit Concert) show recently and Dave Matthews was there, so they sang a song together because they could. Clearly Marcus Mumford is the better one in the duo and that’s just the truth.

And Neil Young was there as well, so this is officially the weirdest concert ever because I kinda thought Neil Diamond was dead. But I guess not.

And now for some straight Mum & Sons because I miss them terribly. This new album needs to be released yesterday.

They are so wonderful. I’ll let those sink in for ya.

hhahah you are so very welcome. its always my pleasure when it comes to them

Ive seen mumford and sons live a couple of times (here in their native UK). They are just such a feel good band, they are also one of the few bands that I know has the talent to make it sound like they are playing an intimate gig, however many people they are playing to. Glad they are successful in the US, they deserve it :)

they deserve it all over the world. awesome that you got to see them live. I hope to catch them on their next US tour. :)
