This Is What Happens When Adam Lambert Sings A Bruno Mars Song

I don’t like it. That’s what happens.
I have to remember that Bruno Mars was writing a song for Adam Lambert. I, of course, was dreaming of this melody driven song from any possible genre (reggae, doo-wop, R&B, pop, etc) because Mr. Mars can sing anything… instead we got “Never Close Our Eyes”. It’s dance-y, has a techno beat, and Adam Lambert is singing on it.
Do you like it? How do you feel about it?
It gets better when you here the parts with Bruno.
Melodies just sound better when Bruno Mars sing them, and that’s the truth.
Who knows what the mastered track sounds like, but let’s hope its heavy with the Bru Bru.
And yes… Adam Lambert fans can commence yelling at me.

Fine. If you’re convinced Bruno is SO much better at singing this then let Bruno release the song. I wonder why he didn’t do that in the first place???…. oh well. Anyway, personally I prefer Adam’s fantastic note-perfect, exciting, soaring vocals any day – that’s just my opinion. But if you all think Bruno sings it better then he should release it himself and Adam should stick with his own songs. I think that’s a better idea anyway – Adam singing his own stuff, don’t you? Otherwise you get this sort of predictable “Oooh yuck! He doesn’t sing it as good as XXXX so there” guff going on. So cheers for that. Hope both Adam and Bruno’s management are reading your blog and rush off to change things immediately!!! PS Bruno didn’t “write it for adam” – he wrote this a while ago and decided not to record it instead releasing a demo for other artists to pick it up if they wanted to (where do you think that recording of Bruno singing it came from???).

bruno recorded the demo. this guy writes songs for himself and others. it’s how the music business works. im sure adam’s version will be successful

Bruno Mars will not sing as good as Adam on the best day of his life. Adam’s vocals are unmatched in the entertainment industry today. Roger Taylor got it right when he said Adam’s voice is one in a hundred million.

Too bad then. I was hoping that Bruno Mars would excel as a songwriter. However, if he can’t write for others, then he just isn’t universal enough to become that legend I had thought.

Well Bruno approves so what are you missing? huh? It is hard to write for someone like Adam. I really like the song, but you are the one dissing Bruno cuz I wouldn’t do that. Don’t you respect Bruno’s opinion? Maybe not a real fan or you’d support him.

I’ll take Adam’s vocals and songs over Bruno’s any day. Bruno is very talented but he’s not to the whole package for me and his range and tone doesn’t do it for me the way Adam’s does. If you’re a fans of Adam’s you would know his intent with the songs on his upcoming album. I’m with @Tassiegirl on this one……if Bruno wanted it,he would have/should have kept it. Now the Adam fans have to wade through all the crap that will come our way because…..well….for no reason except that fans of other artists are simply shallow and can’t accept that there’s room for other artists in this world. You’d think by some of the projections that Adam literally fought,kicked and manipulated his way to get the song!! Hey…did you ever think that perhaps Bruno gave it to him because he thought Adam would do it justice? Now there’s a rational,sane thought….

What has who is the better singer got to do with it? Rocco you’re obviously a Bruno Mar’s freak and the proof is that you managed to find the most unflattering picture of Adam’s magnificent hair that exists LOL.
I love Bruno and he’s a great writer. People trash Lambert all the time, everyone loves Bruno — though vocally even if Adam’s not your style (hmm but Lambert has done so many styles), he’s got equisite vocal talent. Why do you think Adam is the one people love to hate? It’s really getting old, bloggers and critics ought to take a look at the situation instead of just looking to get site hits.

yes adam might have a bigger voice but bruno is an excellent vocalist and his voice is so unique and he does have the whole package and when he performs live he delivers and owns the stage, he has different songs that give you different emotions if I am feeling good I’d listen to just the way you are,a little depressed my choice will be talking to the moon or grenade and if I wanna shake it definitely runaway baby not to forget his count on me a perfect song for friendship,I think bruno 100% deserves all the success he’s getting right now and I hope one day adam will become as big as bruno there’s room for everyone

I’m not a big Adam Lambert fan, but I love Bruno! I actually like the song. I can tell that it’s a Bruno Mars song and of course it’s better when Bruno is singing it.
