Rocco's Pop Revolution: Seen through the eyes of someone living it

Kristen Stewart Is Now At The Point Of Her Career When She Starts Hating On The Thing That Made Her Famous

Posted on: April 17, 2012

I mean, you just can't lip bite in everything

I mean, I get it. Twilight is a ridiculous franchise and the story is written by a crazy mormon (not the Romney’s and no offense to Mormons) that I love dearly because Robert Pattinson and his bone structure hold that franchise together, but Kristen Stewart can not be talking about how shitty these movies are because she has another one to promote.

K-Stew, 22, tells Australia’s Film Ink magazine that Snow White is a better role than Bella.
“It is fairly common to have your story as a woman, even if you’re the protagonist, facilitated by all of the male characters,” she said. “It’s so rare to have a female lead character being so proactive. She pushes her own story forward, rather then being affected by all of the outside elements. Hopefully we do that, I’m really proud to be a part of something like that. It’s always food for women to feel empowered.”

Did you read that? Kristen Stewart is a feminist who’s only claim to fame (and don’t you dare tell me she was in Panic Room because she was 12 and we all thought she was a boy who hasn’t hit puberty yet) is playing a role who bugs out and falls into a deep depression when her boyfriend who won’t give it up leaves her, but of course skips out on college and marries him right after high school only to let him impregnate her with something that she can easily get rid of, but she NEEDS to keep it.

Maybe the Romney’s did write this???

Well, this shows she’s young and not so diplomatic when it comes to revealing her thoughts. Whatever she thinks of her new movie I’m not expecting a breakthrough performance from her as a “violent” Snow White. Did you see Mirror Mirror starring Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen? I hated all the trailers of that movie. And the Snow White in that one is almost as objectionable as K-Stew’s. WTH is wrong with Hollywood these days? Almost all the remakes and game/comic book-to-screen adaptations are disastrous. Is it because this is 2012?
