So, who called this since the moment P2 appeared in the last 5 minutes of the first episode of American Idol season 11? I did. You did. We all did. Because we are all geniuses. I fell in love in those 5 minutes… and we just got in our first fight (more on that), so things are going well.

Yes. Another boy, a white boy, with a guitar one American Idol. Everyone is freeeeeeeaking out. Does it really matter?

Are your kidney’s slowly shutting down because you had to deal with Ryan Seacrest say “This…. is AMERICAN IDOL!” for 6 months?? NO. Let Phil have this one. Plus, he has the same name 17 times on his birth certificate…. he’s like some sort of Southern angel.

In all seriousness… I love that he won. Besides the fact that I like his face and his accent (that would cause us to get in a fight and break up over in about 3 months) I like his music and I listen to that kind of music when I put aside One Direction and Taylor Swift. Plus, look at that face! (and chest flair)

Let’s re- watch Jessica Sanchez’s dreams get crushed and Phillip Phillips (so good he had to be named twice) become so relieved that he can finally go see  a doctor and get a blood transfusion.

His entire reaction to it all is so great.

1) He looks stoned. Or in complete shock. He doesn’t even look happy. BHAHA!

2) And then he’s like “wait… I just won and I’m in extreme pain… I’m just going to stand here and cry”. It’s kind of sweet. I watched this at 1AM after being up for 19 1/2 hours so I cried right along with him.

3) And the ultimate best is “F**k this… I want to go hug my Mom and Dad”. Jessica doesn’t allow her parents to touch her.

Jesus… could Steven Tyler back off a little? He’s hugging a little too long.

Let’s hope his career fairs better than the other 4, and with “Home” so far so good.
