Phillip Phillips Hates “Home” Already

Ahhhh JUST KIDDING! Kind of. Sort of. But probably.
aw shucks.. I’m so charming I can say what I want.
PP is already rebelling against the Idol rigmarole (He inspired me to use that word and say that word in my head with a southern accent. Try it) and it’s perfect. He can do whatever he wants because he rocks Hanes packaged t-shirts like a mofo, has blue eyes, kidney problems (seriously, the guy had surgery like 8 times while on Idol), and has an accent that makes everything he say sound adorable.
P Squared wasted no time telling the world that “Home” is NOT his 1st single, and he told them that:
“The song that I did tonight that supposedly is my single, it’s not really my single, I told them it’s not my single.” Phillips explained that his passion for lyrics and music trumps even the best pitched pop song. “I have my own stories to tell,” he said, “[But] I couldn’t do my song [on the finale]; we just didn’t have enough time.”
“I told them it’s not my single”. <—- how can you be mad when he says it with his twang.
He obviously gives the best sound bites and I kinda think they’re gonna let him do his own thing. This should be fun.
But seriously PP… think about how awesome “Home” is.

I can’t wait to hear his new music ( even if its rapping ) His girlfriend said on twitter that if you liked ” Home ” you will love his written stuff 
*fingers crossed* Phew my eyeballs are falling out of my head from reading all your great P^2 posts not to mention my sides killing me from laughing !!! I sure am gonna miss seeing him on idol every week and wondering which songs he is gonna ” phillipized ” 
if he rapped??? I would die… and fall more in love with him.

Let’s see if “they” will let him put out his own single. Wouldn’t that be the first time a new American Idol was allowed to do that? (Hate to be a downer).

I guess getting over 132 million people to call in and vote gives you some power. PP was all like I’m gonna dress like a slob, skip the stupid ford videos and dis your coronation song on tv, and there’s nothing you can do about it. Take that America Idol. PP Power!
