Rocco's Pop Revolution: Seen through the eyes of someone living it

Phillip Phillips Was Faking It The Entire Time And Will Be Fine For The Idol Tour

Posted on: June 5, 2012

Wow. He really must have hated those Ford commercials to fake a kidney problem just to get out of all the Idol side work.

I should’ve faked sick to get out of the white, sheer shirt

E Online! schooled me on the latest P Squared kidney fiasco with a great intro and I’ll believe them because they made me chuckle and Ryan Seacrest knows everything.

Apparently, PP is good to go to start the tour July 6, which is a month away, WHICH means there is no way he could have kidney surgery and recover in time. So, to sum that all up; HE WAS FAKING IT!

so, kids… this is how you get out of all that Idol crap…..

A source close to Phillips originally told E! News that he was scheduled to do Idol press in New York and then fly home to Georgia for surgery right after the American Idol finale, and then it was rumored that the procedure had been scheduled.

But he didn’t make it to New York, instead participating in the process remotely. Surgery remains an option, sources tell us, but alternative treatment has proved effective and doctors have given him the OK to commence rocking out next month.

Phillips “is being treated and doing well,” says an insider. Meanwhile, the young man and his family are keeping further details about the nature of his treatment and any future treatment he may require private.

Alternative treatment?? As in he’s been drinking gallons of cranberry juice and noshing on chilli cheese fries?? Nice.

That’s right, Rocco…. see ya on tour. Bring the cranberry juice cocktail!

Glad to hear the kidneys are functioning, but I’m gonna need that TMZ girlfriend of his to tweet the real deets! I need to know the cold hard facts on his health charts.

my kidneys love me! *nom nom nom*

I still want to make out him hard… even after that moaning sesh mid song.

This story is becoming a real workout, LOL. I sure hope he doesn’t have regrets later on about not taking care of his health now, if it is an issue at all.

i know right! i hope he takes the time to get healthy NOW, because delaying it is not good. hopefully, good doctors are advising him.

or again, he’s just a master at the idol game hahahah

Faking it? Yeah you’re a sensationialist “journalist” so I guess I won’t give u too hard of a time but seriously you are wrong. I am disappointed every time I read a “news story” that is based upon a grossly misinformed opinion. Oh well, he’s not faking it he’s getting treatments that made surgery unneccessary. Do some research before headlines like this give hima bad name. Most people only read headlines if they don’t really care about the subject, so his fans will know the truth. Its just that potential new fans won’t. Anyhoo have a great day.

oh geez. relax. im not making fun of him.
catch up on PP’s features on the rev and you’ll laugh. promise.

Hey Rocco maybe PP had the lithotripsy done and it worked this time I am sure idol has a hard hold on him ( no pun intended hehe..) about his health until the tour is over and after that he takes good care of himself (drinking lots of cranberry juice !!) I love your wicked sense of humor YOU GO GIRL :D !!

bhahahah i dont know what lithotripsy is but i hope it works!

and yes! i always get in trouble with american idol fans. so damn feisty! lol

Lithotripsy is when they break up the kidney stones using sound waves while the patient sits in a big tub of water. Said stones should then be small enough to move through the stent and exit the body in the urine. HOWEVER…..the sound waves cause extreme discomfort like you have been hit in the stomach by a mack truck and patients can be very uncomfortable for a few days. Much less invasive than surgery and if it doesn’t work surgery can always be done later. This info has been brought to you by me….the surgical nurse.

that sounds like the most painful thing ever. thank you nurse
