Remember yesterday when I turned my Lee D post into a love fest for Michael Ealy? Well, you should because he’s stunning and you need to read The Revolution everyday.

Anyway, while on my OCD “need to watch everything on USA Networks” kick— White Collar is happening and holy shit Matt Bomer. Not only am I convinced that if I ever go to jail for being a con woman the FBI would totally let me out to work on cases, but Neal Caffrey and I would be sexy partners in crime. Totally logical.

Anyway, Brett Easton Ellis, the guy who wants to cast Scott Disik and Lindsay Lohan in movies, thinks the rumor of Matt Bomer playing Christen Grey in the film adaptation of 50 Shades of Grey is just ridiculous, because come on guys—- I mean, *whispers* he’s gay.

“Okay. Let’s finalize this. Matt Bomer is totally hot and a very good actor. He is NOT right for Christian Grey and it complicates the role,” Ellis tweeted. “I don’t care how good an actor you are but being married to another man complicates things for playing CG…Matt Bomer is NOT about discrimination. It’s about an intensely straight actor wanting absolutely to screw Ana Steele…the most popular book on the planet having Matt Bomer–a gay actor–play Christian Grey is absolutely ludicrous. Why?”
And that’s just the start.
Ellis continued, “Jesus, the homophobia over Matt Bomer not being Christian Grey is so unsettling and aesthetically retarded. He’s NOT right for Christian G. Okay I’ll say it. Matt Bomer isn’t right for Christian Grey because he is openly gay. He’s great for other roles but this is too big a game. And I think if Matt Bomer wants the role which I doubt the international press tour will be an embarrassing fiasco. He’s not CG. Never…I am NOT discriminating Matt Bomer because of his sexuality. Fifty Shades of Grey demands an actor that is genuinely into women. Get it?!?”

So we can all agree that Brett Easton Ellis is a moron, right? He clearly doesn’t understand the concept of what an actor does because of this very statement (and because he cast Scott Disik and Lindsay Lohan in movies).

I’m pretty sure Matt Bomer’s White Collar character is straight (because every episode I’ve seen he’s making out with chicks and I’m closing my eyes pretending it was me.. what?) and he was definitely grinding his junk on woman in Magic Mike, so that just squashes Mr. Ellis’ theory.

Since we concluded that I’m a genius (and can totally be a con woman) let’s look at pictures of Matt Bomer.
