Lee D Is Very Bored With “Creep”. He’s Totally Over It.

Okay. Let m just say right off the bat that when I saw the word “Creep” and read that Lee D was performing it, I automatically assumed “Creep” by TLC and lost my shit. Unfortunately, it was the Radiohead song by the same title and my smile and glee automatically turned into whatever Lee D was apparently feeling.
Sadness and apathy.
I admit my screenshot skills are shitty (I should call them screenSHITS- HAH! Get it?) but ummm? What’s up Sad Sally? He looks like he’s sitting in the dark and getting ready for a good cry, which I get– we all have to do, but don’t put it on Telly. I mean, at least put it on YouTube so I can embed the performance and not tell everyone to click HERE to watch it. (Seriously. Click HERE to watch Lee D’s rendition of “Creep”)
I just fell into depression. It was good, he sounded great, especially on a song that I don’t really like all that much, but where’s the enthusiasm? If you’re in a bad mood or look like you are about to burst into tears, let me suggest that you don’t post a public video.
I’m just going to assume a fan kidnapped him and put a gun to his head to post a video. That would explain this whole… well, whatever this whole ambiance was that he was going for.
PS Should I have written a disclaimer for this so I’m not bombarded with death threats via comments and twitter? Well, I don’t know— Penn Badgley seems to be the hot button issue of the week.

It’s not a “happy” song. I think he’d gotten a lot of requests to do a cover of it as a treat from his fans. I like the way he sang it and love his voice but at the end it’s like the song possessed him some way and he did get this “creepy” look in those gorgeous eyes.
