And no, it wasn’t just background music…. it was the actual task I was performing for 2 hrs. Don’t judge me. It was the most fun I’ve had in a while.
I also came to a very important conclusion…. these fellas should release a whole album with all the b-sides, unreleased and demo tracks that never made the final cut. I even came up with a name: “Good S#!t” (Okay… I’m sure we can work on the name)
I don’t know how these songs never made an album. It is such good pop music. (Like, the definition of pop music) I mean it obviously was so good, it kept my ADD mind occupied for 2 hrs straight.

I’m obsessed. If I believed in illegal downloading and stealing from my favorite people on this planet, I would rip this music…. but I do not.
They are perfection. I thank them everyday for existing and making great pop music.
So the moral of all this is… if you are ever bored, go on YouTube and listen to Backstreet Boys. You have at least 2 hrs of entertainment at your fingertips. You’re welcome.

Take the whole ‘NSync song book – stack “God Must Have Spent a Little More Time on You” on top of “Bye Bye Bye” and so on – and it doesn’t measure up to “I Want It That Way.” Unlike some material from that era that hasn’t aged well, it’s a timeless pop song that makes neither a Backstreet Boy nor a Backstreet Man look ridiculous.”
Chris graced us with that little gem as he wrote a review for the Backstreet Boys’ This Is Us tour. I just wanted to share that because I have never read truer words.
If there is doubt in anyone’s mind who was the better group… just ask yourself who is still making music?
