First, i-D Magazine (just scroll down and you’ll see it. I’m not going to link to it… don’t be so lazy) and now V Man magazine.
With about 2 months to go, this Amazing New Spiderman campaign is getting pretty serious.
He’s so good-looking, they couldn’t decide which magazine cover would best sell the idea of him in skin-tight pants for 2 hours on a giant screen. Is this movie coming out in 3D??
Andrew Garfield was interviewed by Tobey Maguire, but I can’t be bothered to read the interview because one, Garfield boo gives long-winded answers about stuff I don’t care about (aka Spiderman), and two, these pictures are too good to not look at immediately.
See my point? Of course you do.
His face looks great.
James Franco is on the cover of V Man magazine and he’s saying some things that are way over my head, but he looks pretty, so hence the point of this post.
On life on and off the big screen:“There is a bit of a dichotomy between my work on camera as an actor and off-camera. I am still hired as an actor in commercial narrative films and my responsibility there is to create characters that are believable and entertaining in each given project. I don’t see my participation in films like Milk or 127 Hours as anything other than storytelling devices among many such devices for the directors of those films. I am a collaborator, but a collaborator serving a director’s vision.”
On people’s skepticism of the concept of celebrity: “You know, I’ve embraced it now. I actually like this sort of superficial criticism of the work, because in a way it becomes this sort of beautiful reflection of our culture.”
I have no idea what he’s talking about.
Taylor Lautner graced the cover of V Man magazine and the “V” must stand for “VERY 19, so it’s totally okay to print these out and make paper mache your lamp with them”.
I don’t know why he seems to be sweating profusely, but I hope someone got the kid (I mean 19-year-old man) some water to re-hydrate.
